Canticle of St. Francis
It begins the praise of creation, which wrote the blessed Francis
to praise and honor God as he lay sick at St. Damianus:
Most high, omnipotent, good Lord,
thy are the praise, glory and honor and all blessings.
To you alone, Most High, do they belong,
and no man is worthy to call you.
