Das Abschiedsgeschenk des Uta-napischti
Als Abschiedsgeschenk erzählt Uta-napischti Gilgamesch von einer Pflanze, die ewige
Jugend verleiht. Sie ist am Grunde der "unterirdischen Wasser" zu finden. Gilgamesch
taucht danach und bringt die Pflanze ans Licht. Er will sie nach Uruk mitnehmen (XI, 281-300).

The parting gift of Uta-napishti
As a parting gift Uta-napishti tells Gilgamesh of a plant that gives eternal youth.
He can find it at the bottom of the "underground water". Gilgamesh then dives
and brings the plant to light. He decides to take it to Uruk.
